100 Hours of Eucharistic Adoration
Ss. Peter and Paul’s Church, Cork City
Wednesday 3 June to Sunday 7 June
As a parish and family of parishes we unite in celebrating this wonderful milestone. The visitation of the relics of St. Carlo Acutis on the final weekend of the month; Saturday 30th May and Monday 1st June in the Cathedral and on Sunday 31st May, in Ss Peter
& Paul’s Church, along with 100 hours of adoration beginning at 1.30 am on 3rd June up to Sunday 7th June at 10.00 am in Ss. Peter & Paul’s, are all part of the preparation leading up to the Eucharistic Procession on Sunday 7th June.
Following a meeting of our Parish Assemblies it was decided that as a parish we are volunteering to cover a 1-hour slot for the Adoration. There is a sign-up sheet at the back of the churches (Carraig na bhFear, Watergrasshill and Glenville). You are invited to sign up for even a quarter of an hour or longer if you wish.
We will also have a parish banner for people to walk behind in the Eucharistic Procession itself. This year as we support the 100th anniversary of the Eucharistic Procession there will not be a procession in Glenville. The Procession in Glenville will return next year.
