Saturday next, 13th June, is the Feast of Saint Anthony

The blessing of lilies will take place during the 10am Mass in St. Joseph’s Church, Little Island on Friday 12th June and again during 6pm Mass in St. Joseph’s Church, Little Island on Saturday 13th June.

Lilies are blessed as a symbol of purity and are believed to bring protection, healing and good luck.
